What Makes Punganur Cow Disease Resistance Strong?

The most outstanding characteristic of this small and rare indigenous Indian cattle breed is punganur cow disease resistance. Punganur cow is well known due to its high degree of adaptation, low maintenance needs and good natural capacity to resist diseases.

This natural resilience has been known by farmers and scientists for long enough, but the genetic basis of this phenomenon needs a more detailed discussion.
